Shipping and Return Info
Shipping Policies:
New York Accents.com uses UPS for all shipments. The best way to calculate shipping charges is to let us calculate it for you!
To find out the total charge of an item including shipping, add the item to your shopping cart and proceed to check out. Fill in all necessary data: name, address, shipping address, email address, phone number and select a shipping method.
All applicable charges will be calculated which includes shipping, tax and any gift wrapping charges. This calculation will appear on the review shipping and payment info page at which you will have the opportunity to either proceed with the transaction or to cancel. The actual shipping cost is calculated by the weight of the item and the type of shipping method chosen by the customer. This rate quote is given in an actual UPS "real-time" quote. This means that this will be the actual rate charged for shipping the desired item(s).
Once the customer's order has been placed, confirmed and shipped, an emailed confirmation notice will be sent to the customer which includes package tracking details. New York Accents.com diligently strives to package and ship all orders within 2 business days.
Sales Tax
*Customers who purchase in New Jersey will incur a 7% sales tax. There is no sales tax charged to the remaining states.
Shipping Methods
United States Postal Service - Small Flat Rate Box: Most Economical! Only $5.65 and includes Delivery Confirmation. Domestic service delivered within the 48 contiguous states. The small flat rate box size is 8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8". Choose this option for items that can fit in this size box only. This box perfectly fits, necklaces, bangles and t-shirts (1 piece t-shirt). Larger size items such as tote bags and handbags can not fit in this box. Choose another delivery method for these larger size items.
UPS Ground: Domestic service delivered within the 48 contiguous states.
UPS 3 Day Select: Domestic service delivered within the 48 contiguous states by the end of the 3rd business day.
UPS 2nd Day Air: Domestic service delivered to all 50 states including Puerto Rico by the end of the 2nd business day.
UPS Next Day Air Saver: Domestic service delivered withn the 48 contiguous states by the end of the next business day.
UPS Worldwide Express: Delivered by end of 2nd business day including shipments to Canada.
UPS Standard to Canada: Delivered to most addresses in Canada's 10 provences. Most economic ground service.

* International orders are subject to additional handling charges including any applicable customs, import duties and taxes which are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Easy Returns:
New York Accents.com honors returns on merchandise. Returns can not be damaged due to wear and tear. Due to the nature of our automated system, New York Accents.com requires that all returned merchandise is shipped back to us within 3 weeks of the delivery date. This is necessary so that we can apply the necessary credit back to the customer's credit/debit card within our allotted time period of 30 days. After 30 days the customer's credit card number is erased from our system for customer security.
Domestic Returns
Follow these simple steps to return a shipment:
1. Enclose and secure merchandise in original packaging.
2. Email or call our customer care center so that we can email you quickly a retun label. Make sure that this label is place over the old shipping label.
3. Close package by sealing securely with packing tape.
4. Return to any of the following UPS locations: UPS Drop Box, The UPS Store, UPS Customer Center, an authorized shipping outlet or pickup location, or simply give it to a UPS service provider.
Exchanges will be treated as follows: The customer will return the product within 3 weeks as mentioned above. The customer's credit/debit card will be credited the amount of the original product. The customer will then be able to place a new order for his/her desired product.
International Returns
There is no return service for international shipments. Customers will have to choose their own method of mailing the package back to us. This includes paying for all shipping costs (custom duties and taxes) associated with shipping a package. Please keep in mind that as with domestic orders, if a customer is returning a package and is expecting a refund on the order placed, we need to have the order sent back to us within 3 weeks of the delivery date in order to apply the refund.
Special Sales Postings
All Sales and Shipping offers end at 11:59 P.M. EST on last day of sale. This does not include ongoing sales. Free shipping or reduced shipping offers will be adjusted before your card is charged. If you use Paypal as a method of payment, you will be refunded immediately the shipping adjustment.
